The Parks & Recreation Department remains dedicated to offering the programs and services that Sapulpans want and need.

Each year, the Sapulpa Parks and Recreation Department plans, coordinates, and supervises approximately fifty (50) citywide recreation programs, special events, festivals, and trips, etc., for the enrichment of Sapulpa citizens of all ages.

The Department provides essential support services for a variety of non-departmental community-wide events.  The City’s Booker T. Washington Recreation Center is the only “public” recreation facility in the City of Sapulpa that is “free” to the public.  A variety of structured and “drop-in” activities are offered year-round on a daily basis for people of all ages.  The Recreation Center is fully staffed and is open to the public six (6) days per week.
